Before going out to SAVE the world . . . .
To solve the "problems" of the world will require some "common (?) sense";
But, first, a battle must be won over Man's "indifference".
Around the globe, six billion? (plus) form a human society,
Yet, when the "species" needs some help, most cry: "Don't look at ME !"
![]()
"It's not MY fault (you'll hear Man say), that others
have their woes;
And, IF you're asking ME for help ----- you're pushing on my nose".
Now ----- the ORACLE of Apathy, is mighty and resplendent;
By "contrivance" IT has trapped Mankind, 'til we're no longer independent.
![]()
Since early times, ITS searching "tubes" have been "bent" towards exploitation;
And, the seeming miracles IT has wrought have received blind adulation.
The more IT learns, the less WE know, but, blame not the worker's "art";
The reason that Man fails himself lies in the learner's start.

The "priesthood" of this Oracle (which is commonly called "Science")
Is the one on which Man's based his faith with absolute reliance.
"The 'scien-tists' will put things straight -- there's no
need for ME to worry,
When any problem gets TOO rough -- THEY will solve it in a hurry"
![]()
"So ----- all I have to do is 'wait'; and,
'someone will do something';
THEY will straighten out this 'mess' we're in -- (in the meantime I'll do nothing)".
This attitude is seen at home (and, often, in the school);
Are children, then, so much at fault IF they adopt this as their "rule"?
![]()
And, when these children have their own, won't this
"rule" be passed along;
To other children who, in turn, will pass it on and on?
One "answer" to this "Rolling Stone" (that we term
"Apathy") ----- Is
For US to bring it to a halt --- by what WE do ----- today !
![]()
SO ----- we asked ourselves, "What CAN we do? (After all, we're only one)?;
And, why should WE do all the work, while OTHERS have the fun"?
Then, a "starting point" occurred to us, with regard to Man's distress;
Before going out to "save the world" -----

we'll stop
"adding" to the mess !!!
