AHLEC's Introduction ..... (original form??) .... circa 1970
[ AND, to get a better idea of how it was "way back then"..... ]
just erase ALL colors and images on
this page -- and
scribble the following words on a piece of scratch paper.
My name is AHLEC ----- and, in this "image" of ME,
I'm "happy" -- as an "Ego-Cube" should be !
My task in Life -- (and, what I want to do) --
Is to help you be what's really YOU.
Like when things are right, and your head's on "straight",
I'll Smile and help you communicate.
But IF pressures or problems ever get you down,
Simply "tip-me-over", and I'll help you Frown.
My talent to change can provide much delight,
And, could help you relax should you get "up-tight".
IF a "friend" you would have, then a "friend" I
will be;
And, I'll accompany YOU as your symbol of WE.
As part of the journey -- and, as part of the plan --
Let me help you discover the "essence of Man".
In NINE different ways all "Men" are the same;
Thus, billions of "persons" share more than a "name".
Though each is "alike" -- I've NOT said: "Two are Equal";
As "creative potential" varies greatly with "people".
[ My "potential to do" is, also, tied-in with Man's;
For, as you see, I'm a "cube" and (thus) need YOUR hands. ]
Now ----- a "poser" for you (in your role as a "sage"),
How am I to help YOU if I'm "stuck" on this page ?
An "answer" to this involves just your "mind",
IF you'll let me inside, you'll not leave me behind.
Then, away WE could "fly"; and, in fact, get
"involved"
With a series of "posers" that aren't, yet, resolved ?
IF the "Search" for Life's "answers" holds, for you, an allure,
Shall WE, now, finish this rhyme and get on with the "tour" ?

This rhyme was included because there are a number of "variations" floating around -- SO
the "original" -- from Earth Day I -- needed a "permanent home" ---- all of its own.
[ And -- for the truly young ----- Earth Day I was April 22, 1970 ]
