On
an "Answer Tree"......???
![]()
Some wish there could in Nature be -----
an ever-blooming Answer Tree;
So when they have the urge to find
THE "Answer" for their troubled mind,
All they'd have to do is look ----- and,
that "tree" would get them off the hook.
![]()
But "friend" there IS NO "Answer Tree"
(or "Other" to take care of Thee) ----- SO,
When questions 'rise or touch your ear,
(we suggest) you get your mind in gear;
And do some "searching" for the nonce,
(forget about a "quick response").
![]()
A Question is much like a Door,
it can open "regions to explore".
THE "Answer" is much like a Key,
it can "lock" that door so you can't "See".

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION -----
the word
** THE **
(when used in front of a noun)
might be one of the most "dangerous" words in the English Language.
![]()
THE
(anything)
infers an " absolute"-- excluding all other possibilities.
On the other hand, the articles "a" or "an" -- suggest
an (anything) might be just "one of many" alternate things.

Particularly in
modern advertising (with the myriad product choices available),
it has become common practice for the advertiser to claim that a specific product is
THE answer to some common problem faced by consumers.
AND -- IF done effectively -- there ARE consumers who react to the words
THE BEST.....
and, then, simply buy that product -- without doing any comparison checks.
![]()
NOW ----- emphasize
THE (an absolute) -- by adding another word or words --
and there are boundless numbers of those who happily will offer us:
THE
ANSWER (to things) --
THE ONE
(way to resolve a problem) --
THE ONE AND ONLY
(way to to do something) --
THE RIGHT way
(of thinking, etc.) -- and even
THE ONE TRUE
(religion -- pathway -- etc.).
![]()
Isn't it nice that someone (else) always knows
THE "THING" that we need
in order to be happy ??
![]()
Saves us a bunch of time NOT having to think about things, ourselves ----- right???
