The "Obvious" - (rhyme form)

On the "Obvious"
(rhyme form)

The Obvious is "obvious" -- as any fool can plainly see);

but, others are so obstinate -- I must "force" them to agree.

The sky is blue -- the grass is green -- and this rose I have is red;

(And, those who say "This isn't so !" are "funny" in the head).

I walk along the Path of Life -- I have NO "doubt" or "fear",

For everything is "obvious" ----- ALL things in life are clear.

IF only other people weren't so stupid and so slow,

The world's problems could be solved -- (and, there'd be an end to woe").

I'm ABSOLUTELY certain that the way to make things right,

Is to exercise "prerogatives" which are based on Strength and Might.

It's "obvious" what I would do -- ( IF only "I" had power) -----

I would purify this world of FOOLS -- (after making each "fool" cower).

The first to go would be the "blind", for they're no use to me;

They always argue -- far too much -- over things they CANNOT "see".

The next to go would be the Scholars, who "question" every-thing;

It's "obvious" why these should go ----- there'd be NO "questions" were I King !

The "common man" (and the "have nots") are useless to the "cause";

Their uselessness is "obvious" ---- it's "obvious", BECAUSE !!!

In fact ----- the "artist" and the "sculptor" would be replaced in "time",

As it's "obvious" that "artistry" is epitomized in RHYME .

Aristocrats and Diplomats would no longer have existence;

For I (as "Ruler of the World") would have no need of their assistance.

Now ----- the ONLY thing that worries me is as "obvious" as "HELL"?;

Were I to rid the world of FOOLS ----- who'd unlock my padded cell ???
