Introduction

The following set of web pages contain "views " of life -- and the process of living --

as seen through a different "looking-glass".

Using a system of reasoning -- known as "Environmental Logic" -- these perspectives (often couched in rhyme) were
created as "reflectors of reality" for those who have an interest in the past -- present -- and future -- of humankind.

Written between  Earth Day I (April 22, 1970) and Earth Day XI (April 22, 1980), these rhymes --
and/or associated prose -- were intended to reflect the "socio-psychological essence" of certain
concepts which were receiving much public attention -- worldwide -- during that period of history.

Since these (unpublished) rhymes seem to have withstood the "test of time", it was decided to let AHLEC bring them into
world-view as part of a little "treasure chest" of "teaching-learning tools" that can be used  -- (or not) -- by children
of all ages, as they choose.
These "tools" are to be introduced to children -- often one child at a time --
by parents, teachers, mentors and others who history will think of as  "social entrepreneurs".

It is hoped that those who enjoy exploring life -- and the process of living -- will be intrigued by the
relevance of these  "perspectives" -- written so many years ago -- to the "issues" of our modern (?) world.

We leave it to you -- the viewer -- to decide the merit of each of these "perspectives".  BUT, it IS hoped that you will find
something in this SITE that will enhance your personal life -- and, possibly, the lives of others (at least to some degree).

A "small" note for the "purists"--

The primary function of these "written pieces" is to demonstrate -- via the process of
Environmental Logic -- how beautifully
"complex" the simple can be -- and how beautifully
"simple" the complex can be.
