Expansion of the "Leadership by Example" factor

As a basic premise, S. U. A. B. C. considers every functional human being to be "special" - -

( IF for no other reason than the fact that every individual is -- "unique"). This concept

of "specialness" is a "common denominator" that can be used to establish

"bridges of understanding" across "chasms of human differences".

S. U. A. B. C. offers every "special person" an opportunity to convert "awareness" into

"action" ----- in exactly the same manner as everyone else -- regardless of age, sex or

physical/mental/cultural/language/racial/religious/economic/status differences, etc.

[ This "action" can be taken by the literate and illiterate alike ]

Implementation of the "Leadership by Example" factor, by individuals, will (in time) create a vast

"peer-pressure-group" of "Very Special Persons" ----- a group that could be highly

instrumental in bringing about a, truly, significant reduction of the alcohol

and drug abuse problem in our society ----- (and in our schools?).

Without "pointing a finger" -- without "preaching" -- without "being judgmental" --

S.U.A.B.C. could (in theory) split the "silent majority" into:

(1) an "active majority" of those who, as a result of their personal
"commitment", are "part of the solution"; and,

(2) a "silent minority" of those who -- uncaringly -- are (STILL)
"part of the problem".

NOTE:

[ During this process, "recognition capability" is important because being

"part of the solution" (or being "part of the problem")

is NOT based on one's outward appearance ]

The last phase of the "factor" ---- called "Leadership by Example" ---- is for

EACH "Special Person" to initiate "personal action". This action can take

many forms - - some very "simple" - - some more "complex"; i.e.

(simple)

Look in the "mirror" -- first thing after awakening -- and say:

I am a Very Special Person -- and I am "part of the solution".

( which means that YOU are making a "commitment"

-- for this one day --

NOT to get "drunk"; and, NOT to use "drugs").

[ And this will work even for those who have NEVER EVER been

drunk before and/or have never taken illegal drugs before ]

Make it a point -- throughout your day -- to analyze your own

"actions" -- and "interactions" with others -- while asking

the question:

Am I providing "Leadership by example" ???

The two examples, above, are examples of passive "Leadership by Example". This means that --

without pointing a finger -- and without teaching or preaching -- your own personal "actions"

are getting out into the world (quietly and effectively). And ----- these actions

WILL be noticed -- and WILL be considered by others...........

without you ever having to say a "word".

For those who wish to be more "active" ----- "Just look around" ! ! There are, literally,

thousands of individuals (and hundreds of "groups" of individuals) OF LIKE MIND,

with whom you can communicate, and inter-act (to greater or lesser degrees).

Just knowing about such "individuals" -- and groups -- may assist you

in deciding to keep your own, personal, "commitment" to be

"part of the solution" each and every day

for the rest of your life.

And then -- when you are comfortable in doing so -- you may find yourself willing

to participate in one or more of the "activities" being sponsored by these

other Very Special Persons who have already decided to -- "openly" --

Stand Up And Be Counted

And then -- THERE IS THE CONCEPT OF

COLLECTIVE LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE !!!
