AHLEC's Journey - - History
The "scribbler"
1969
-- at a pub near the Stanford University campus -- Palo Alto, California -- USA
The month -------- April. The day ------- the 19th. The time ------- early afternoon.
Those in attendance, a group of (somewhat gregarious) Stanford students
AND ----- a "stranger" in their midst -- (now known to be) A-David.
The gist of the various verbal exchanges - often a bit "heated" -
revolved around various elements of concern about what
was being called -- "The Environmental Crisis".
While there was basically no consensus on
any issue -- the debates were both
complex and intriguing -- to the
extent that A-David went
away and began to do
some thinking about
what he'd heard.
And -- THEN
he became
"involved"

The first step in this process of "involvement" was to set down all of the questions he could remember
being discussed by the students. The next step was to set down remembered elements --
both pro and con -- presented by those who participated in the "discussions"
(which were more like verbal "explosions" of words and emotions).
And with this as a starting point, A-David started a process
of trying to separate fact from fiction -- and emotion
from emotionality -- with the result of this initial
process being the creation of a personal,
privately funded, research project
that, later, became known as
AHLEC's Journey
and, over time, also
turned out to be
a way of life
for him.

With this bit of info as a starting point -- you are invited to "look and learn" --
and, should you be so inclined ----- you might also decide you would like to
become involved in AHLEC's Journey as one who Dares to Dream --
Dares to Think -- and Dares to Strive to be the best you can be.
AND ----- should that occur ----- welcome to the realm of
The Social Entrepreneur
where the process of "helping make this a
better world -- for all humankind" -- is
not simply a passing thought,
but rather -- a viable and
personally rewarding
Way of Life.
