INTRODUCTION
Some "visitors" arriving at this page will already have taken a "peek" at
wherein a "student" (S-1) learned how to employ elements of the
Gnu - (I)mage - (M)anipulation - (P)rogram ----- a.k.a. The GIMP
in order to digitally restore a collection of paintings from a
series of old and/or damaged 35mm negatives.

HOWEVER ----- WHAT DOES A STUDENT DO ----- IF
THERE ARE NO MORE "OLD NEGATIVES"
OR PHOTOS TO PLAY WITH???
This "Keeper Library" was
created to show S-1's
answer to that
question.

Out there in hyperspace are, literally, millions of photographic images that have been
"plunked" -- anonymously -- onto the NET for others to view and use
however they see fit --- for their personal enjoyment.
And, you may have seen variations of
these presentations as the
"artistically inclined"
added their
"touch".

AHLEC's "Keeper Library" contains audio-visual presentations, created by S-1,
which are sufficiently interesting -- and/or enchanting -- to merit
their inclusion into a permanent archive as part of
AHLEC's GIFT to the children of the world.
IF you like the concept of adding
your artistic "touch" to some
of the "anonymous" art
floating around in
hyperspace
WHY NOT CREATE YOUR OWN "KEEPER LIBRARY"
????? and share it with others ?????

For some -- this can become an interesting and rewarding "hobby".
For the "aspiring graphic artist" -- this can be a fun way to
develop special skills as you strive to become
a "professional" in the field of
computer graphics.
Either way --
enjoy!
