(more) ABOUT ME --

as a Special Person Symbol

Being a "Special Person" is a concept to which everyone in the world
can relate -- regardless of age, sex, language, or culture, etc. ---
because every functional human being does this, intuitively,
without instruction ( IF one's "ego" is functional at all ).

The "problem" is: This intuitive "sense of specialness" can either be reinforced in
a positive manner; or, it can be virtually destroyed by "cultural conditioning" --
"conditioning" in the home -- in the school -- or, elsewhere in society.

Historically, the concept of "I am....." (or, "You are.....") has been reinforced by the
creation of symbolic words and art-forms intended to identify the "differences" by means of which
people separate themselves -- or are separated -- from each other: [ i.e. words/symbols indicating nationality,
religion, organizational affiliation, economic/social "status", sex, race, culture, etc., etc., (and) etc. ]

However, it would appear that MAN has, somehow, failed to create a universal art-form
that could be used to identify the "similarities" -- or "commonalities of specialness" --
which bind ALL of Mankind into a single, very "special" life-form that differs from
all other known life-forms, relative to "creative potential".

(with your help) Perhaps AHLEC could be used to fill this conceptual void???

AHLEC -- as a Special Person Symbol -- might well be thought of as a sociological "Mickey Mouse"
-- or, more accurately, as a little "ambassador of good-will" to children (of all ages) throughout the world;
"children" who, in effect, will be responsible for the future of humankind on this "third rock from the sun".

The basis of AHLEC being able to cross all "man-made barriers" (whether they be of linguistic,
cultural, geographic or other "artificial" derivation) is symbolized by AHLEC's ability to "fly".

More specifically, AHLEC has a little internal jet engine -- (a brain?) -- which converts "fuel" into "power".
Thus, through the use of little "intake and exhaust ports" on all six sides, AHLEC is able to breathe-in
"the air of knowledge" and expel "intellectual power" ----- (just as each "Special Person" can do?).

One thing, though----- IF AHLEC's little "intake/exhaust ports" ever get clogged up with that
very sticky substance called APATHY, no "air of knowledge" can be taken in -- no "intellectual power"
will be generated by the little jet engine -- and AHLEC will "crash" ----- (just as each "Special Person" might do?).

Further ----- even though AHLEC might be generating all kinds of "intellectual power" -----
IF AHLEC doesn't exert proper "control", he can "flip-out" and "CRASH" --
( just as some "Special Person" might do when "losing control"? ).

And, this last sentence brings up one final point: In creating AHLEC, the question came up
relative to which pronoun to use -- "He" -- "She" -- or, "It". Not wishing to offend anyone -- but
needing a decision to solve this "personal(?) problem", AHLEC was presented to a group of
six and seven year-old children, who were asked what they thought the "pronoun" should be.

Without exception, boys and girls alike immediately -- and unanimously -- said that AHLEC is a "He".
Hence, should any "adult" have a problem with this ---- let them take it up with the "children of the world".

And, to answer (again?) the question which every "Special Person" (eventually) asks:

A H L E C is an "acronym" derived from five words which describe the
"essence of Creative Man" -- in a positive state -- as:

A Happy Little Ego - Cube

(or AHLEC for short *grin*)
