Welcome
To
My "Twin-ness"

![]()
WAY BACK -- in the early days of creating me as a
Special Person Symbol --
it was immediately obvious that a "mirror image" could be created -----
with one image being just as effective as the other.
This led to some "fun-type" discussions ----- and may lead
YOU
to some of your own with other people.
![]()
The first concept to be explored was ----- "Special People" come in all sizes
-- shapes -- and colors, etc. However -- while
EVERY "Special Person"
is the same as EVERY other "Special Person"
in at least nine ways
-- one of the MOST interesting differences is that some folks
are naturally "right handed" --- and some are
naturally "left handed"
--
(while, still, some other folks are "ambidextrous"???).
![]()
So ----- why not let one of the twins be used
(by those who
so desire)
to indicate whether they are right or left handed
???
![]()

The
next question was:

Which "twin" could best be used for which (arbitrary) identification?
IF you look at the "twins" above ----- you will notice that the one on the "left"
is actually "flying" FROM the left towards
the right ----- hence,
it was (arbitrarily) decided that this one
could be used to identify
"right-handed" people (moving from left
to right).
![]()
The one on
the right (above) is
actually "flying" towards the left
-----hence,
it was (arbitrarily) decided that this one could
be used to identify
"left-handed" people (moving from right to
left?).
![]()
AND -- this also has a (little) bit of PRACTICAL VALUE in the real world; to wit:
![]()
![]()
IF you were to assign places at a table in your home
-- or a restaurant --
it is always more practical to seat a
right-handed person
on the right side of a left-handed person
so
they don't jostle each other with their elbows when they are
eating.
![]()
![]()
AND -- (IF you knew about this, in advance) -- you could also
place a person's glass -- or cup -- on the side of the plate
nearest to their dominant hand. (Hmmm ??)
Did you know that many "tools" are designed without considering
whether or not the eventual "user" of that tool will be right or left
handed??
Ever watch a left-handed person struggle to use
(what most think of as) a "normal" --
"regular" -- pair of
scissors? (And, did you know there actually are --
specially designed -- "left handed" scissors -- which, logically,
are difficult for right-handed people to use??)
AND --
did
you know there are still other scissors
THAT
are "just right" for
ambidextrous persons ??
Hmmm ???????
![]()
![]()
![]()
BUT -- once we get off the
"right-left-handed" concept -----
[
which has now been so ably resolved (grin) ] --
is there any other concept that
might apply to the "twins"????
YEP !!! Ever hear people talk about "right-brain" and/or "left-brain" ????
![]()
There are a whole BUNCH of writings on this subject -----
which I will leave for you to explore on your own --
with these two
exceptions:
Some say that the "right-side" of one's brain
controls the left-side of the body's
motor function and that the
"left-side" of one's brain controls the
right-side.
And, some say that the "right-side"
of one's brain is one's "creativity center"
while the "left-side"
of one's brain is the "analytical center".
![]()
(Hence, artists and musicians are
"right-brain dominant"?? ----
while accountants, mathematicians,
etc. are "left-brain dominant"??)
Should YOU be one of those who might wish to "play" with
the
right-brain -- left-brain -- concepts, this can be a basis
for many
"fun-type" conversations with your friends.

The NEXT to LAST (?) thing about both "twins" is that they like (pleasant) "surprises --
both giving and getting !!! --
so this is one for those who may (someday) "dare" to enter the upper levels of my website:
THERE you will discover the "short cuts" ??? built into the twins.
[ In MOST cases that is -- because Nothing is "absolute" ]
Both Twins contain a hidden "link"----- that, of course, is related to their own individuality.
Click on a "right hand" AHLEC --- and you will immediately arrive at AHLEC's Main Site Map.
Click on a "left hand" AHLEC --- and you will immediately arrive at AHLEC's Special Gift Room
THEN ----- think it through -----
IF the right-hand AHLEC is, actually
"left-brain dominant" -- and therefore more
in-tune with details and organization -- this "twin" is (obviously?)the one
who should "guide" you to the "organized and detailed" Site Map.
IF the left-hand AHLEC is, actually
"right-brain dominant" -- and therefore more
in-tune with
creativity, artistry and "outside the box thinking" -- this
"twin"
is (obviously?) the one who should "guide" you to the
"non-structured"
GIFT Room where "creativity and artistry"
abound.

NOW for the LAST (?) thing about my "twin-ness" -----
TRY THIS -----
You realize of course that in my "upright" position
(where I am MOST comfortable)
I am "smiling".
![]()
BUT -- turn me over -- and --I WILL "frown".
{And, this image is one that is used -- several times -- in these
web pages}.
HOWEVER -- what most folks never see (or think about)
is that
I can be turned (just a wee bit) -- in several different ways --
such as in the example below where I am flying sideways...
When this occurs,
an optical illusion comes into play where,
with just the tiniest
bit of "eye adjustment",
I can switch from smiling to frowning --
and back again --
WITHOUT ME EVER MOVING. (Neat
!!!!!)

AND -- if you wish to "play with me" ---
you will find other positions where this works as well.

Simply a matter of "perspective" -- which is VERY much
like it is in real life.
In real life, one person can look at
you and think you are happy.
BUT -----
(without you doing anything) ----- another person
can come to the conclusion that you are "sad" -- or
"mad".
(Interesting !!!!).
OK -- enough about my "twin-ness" -----
it's time, now,
to "left-click" your right-handed mouse -----
or "right-click"
your left handed mouse ----- to move along?????
WOW !!!!! Things can get REALLY complicated -- quickly???? (grin)
Bye !!!![]()
Now ---- some choices for your little mouse --
